Vocalist Carolyn Malachi makes pop, spirit, and jazz-influenced R&B having a poetic, avant-garde bent. A indigenous of Washington, D.C., Malachi is definitely great-granddaughter of jazz pianist John Malachi and was raised listening to a multitude of music. She ultimately relocated to Baltimore, where she performed frequently within the vocalist/songwriter golf club circuit. She released her debut single album, Revenge from the Wise Chicks II: Ambitious Gods, in ’09 2009. The EP Lions, Fires & Squares adopted this year 2010. That same yr, the music “Orion” from Lions, Fires & Squares was nominated for any Grammy Award.
