Carolyn Currie

Carolyn Currie was raised in Concord, MA, developing a pastime in singing, songwriting, and electric guitar playing seeing that she attended university and graduate college. After settling in Seattle, WA, she self-released her initial record, No Heroes, in 1995. It opened up doors on her behalf as a article writer and performer at such locations because the Telluride Bluegrass Celebration, the Rocky Hill Folks Celebration, the Napa Valley Folk Celebration, as well as the BMI Songwriter’s Display. Late 1998 noticed the discharge of her following album, Standing Rocks. Kiss of Spirits, her third record, released by Etherean on August 3, 2004 (soon after she shifted from Seattle to Maine), helped her protected berths on the Kerrville Folk Celebration as well as the Falcon Ridge Folk Celebration; it was selected among the best independent produces of the entire year by Performing Songwriter mag and earned the People’s Choice Award at the brand new age trade present INATS East.
