Biography

b. Caroline Halcrow. Previous Blue Aeroplanes member Trettine remaining the group in 1987 (where she made an appearance under her actual name) and forged a single profession as an acoustic guitar-playing singer-songwriter within the mould of Joni Mitchell and modern Tanita Tikaram. Her power lay within the haunting and melancholic design of such tunes as ‘Rest With Me’ and ‘Guilty, Creativity And Turning’. She authorized to Billy Bragg’s reactivated Power label, documenting one mini-album with the help of Nick Jacobs (guitar), Ian Kearey (electrical and classical guitar) and Firmness Lender (drums). Her later on live shows in London drew very much critical praise where she has however to capitalize.
