Carmelle

Visible artist, musician, and songwriter Carmelle Safdie set up a wealthy practice on her behalf music, paintings, and visual artistry over time, working out of the home bottom in Queens, NY. Along with exhibiting paintings and various other artwork, Safdie co-founded, sang, and performed percussion in jangly twee punk music group Beachniks from 2008 until their 2013 break up. Quickly before that break up, Safdie started collaborating with previous Beets member Juan Wauters, initial showing up on his 2014 single outing UNITED STATES Poetry. The duo performed jointly and toured broadly, working toward the greater totally collaborative 2015 EP Putting on Leather, Wearing Hair, a short established released under both players’ brands over the Captured Monitors label.
