Carlo Ponti

Carlo Ponti was created and raised in Italy. Educated simply because an attorney, Ponti began creating Italian movies in the first 1940s where he supervised the movies of Comencini, Lattuada, and Zampa. In the first 1950s, he teamed up with Dino De Laurentis and jointly the two created a few of the most renowned and influential movies in Italian movie theater. They worked jointly from 1950-57 before Ponti started working as manufacturer and co-producer in France, Britain, and the united states. Ponti’s troubles using the Italian federal government continuing in 1979 when he was sentenced in absentia with the Italian courtroom to four-years in jail, and also a $25 million great for sneaking cash and valuable artwork overseas, but because he was no more an Italian resident, the government got no specialist to extradite him.
