Carlo Coccia

An Italian operatic composer who was simply students of Casella, Valente, Fenaroli and Paisiello. Coccia had not been molded right into a parrott of Paisiello — that was usually the case for his pupils — and was set alongside the loves of Mayr. Views of his functions wavered. At his nadir his operas had been regarded as plagiaristic and careless with Coccia’s zenith his operas exhibited his dedication, pathos and crucial acclaim. Besides operas, Coccia also constructed several public and sacred music.
