Biography

A talented jazz vocalist who reshapes requirements in subtle methods, Carla Helmbrecht is situated in the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Bay Region. She remembers informing a pal when she was five that she would be a vocalist someday. Helmbrecht began playing piano when she was eight and was performing professionally at wedding ceremonies by enough time she was 12. She performed on oboe for six years in college concert rings, and became thinking about jazz as an adolescent. She produced four privately documented tunes on 45s when she was 18. Helmbrecht gained bachelor’s and master’s levels in speech-language pathology from Tx Tech University. During university, she sang and documented using the TTU Big Music group, resulting in the ocean Breeze recording Seein’ the Light…Hearin’ the Hub-tones. She backed herself in university performing in nightclubs and jazz pubs. In 1994 Helmbrecht released her debut single documenting, One for My Baby. Since relocated towards the SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA Bay Area, she’s performed using the Dark Marketplace Jazz Orchestra (performing on the 1998 Compact disc Season’s Greetings), worked well regularly in North California, and produced two further single recordings, 2001’s Become Cool Become Kind and 2004’s Here’s to Like; the latter offers just been released in Japan up to now.
