Carl Allen


Carl Allen, an excellent drummer who spent some time working with Freddie Hubbard, Jackie McLean, George Coleman, Artwork Farmer, and Benny Green, suit right along with the music group Message, which recorded The Artwork of Blakey in the later ’80s. He continued to business lead his own periods for Timeless, Atlantic, and Proof furthermore to focusing on making albums by various other top “Teen Lions.” In 2007 he matched up with bassist Rodney Whitaker for the soul-inflected People PREPARE YOURSELF.
