Captain Onboard

Captain Onboard was the initial single project by SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA guitarist Joe Goldring, a veteran of several indie bands you start with the early-’90s post-punk of Toiling Midgets. Following that he shifted to a gig using bass with New York’s notorious gloom vendors the Swans, after that returned towards the Bay Region to play using the sadcore music group Faith Uses up, which released an record in 1998. He following joined up with June of 44 drummer Doug Scharin in the experimental dub task Out of Worship (aka Out in Worship), which created two albums over 1998-1999. A bumpy assisting tour helped dissolve that task, and Goldring shifted to are a sideman for both Porn (The Males Of) and Handled with a Janitor.
