Created in Queens, NY, USA, in 1958, this vocal quintet contains Nick Santamaria (lead vocals), Mike Mincelli (1st tenor), Vinny Nacardo (second tenor), Frank Reins (baritone) and John Apostol (bass). These were most widely known for the doo-wop ballad ‘There’s A Moon Out Tonight’, a US #3 3 one in early 1961.
