Modern gospel singer, rapper, and producer Canton Jones was raised within a musical family in Deerfield Seaside, a coastal city in southeast Florida. As soon as age five, Jones became a member of a performing quartet his dad created, and by age group 16 he was producing beats for himself and additional local performers. After senior high school, Jones relocated his home foundation to Atlanta, where he went to Morehouse College.
