Canterbury

Produced in 2005 in Farnham, Surrey by Luke Prebble (lead vocals), Ben Bishop (bass), and Adam Tube (guitar) — who all went to the same boarding classes — and curved away by Mike Sparks (vocals, guitar) and Scott Peters (drums) in 2007, Canterbury spent their early years creating a profile by touring and helping famous brands Against Me personally!, You Me at Six, and We Will be the Sea just before releasing any materials. Documented in 2007 but released 2 yrs later in ’09 2009, their debut record, MANY THANKS, was issued free of charge in the band’s internet site, assisting build their group of fans a lot more. After a headlining tour from the U.K. in early 2010, Canterbury released the EP RELAX. Bassist Ben Bishop made a decision to keep the music group and with Prebble dealing with bass responsibilities, the today four-piece go about documenting its sophomore discharge. Announced at the start of 2012, Large in your day premiered in the July of this year, accompanied by a headlining tour to get the record. In Apr 2013 the bandmembers announced that they had agreed upon a cope with Trouble Information, which would ultimately discharge the group’s third record. Around once, drummer Scott Peters still left the music group and was changed by previous All Ignored member Chris Velissarides. Getting into the studio room in summer months 2013 — after originally getting financing for the record through the Pledge Music internet site — Canterbury continued release a their third record, Dark Times, in early 2014.
