Though Canterbury Good could release small music through the past due ’60s, they did record a great deal of material — a lot of it issued on CD around three decades later on — that was uncommon for California psychedelia both in its incorporation of traditional influences and its own lack of a bass participant. Created in Fresno, the music group, although in the beginning including a lady vocalist, evolved right into a trio offering keyboardist John Hollingsworth, his sibling Philip Hollingsworth on bass, and drummer Wayne Holley (later on changed by Sean Corsaro).
