A hard-hitting metalcore device based out of New Orleans, Louisiana, Cane Hill’s punishing mixture of post-hardcore and nu-metal pulls from a deep well of divergent affects, from Pantera and Slipknot to hip-hop and indie rock and roll. Founded in 2013 by vocalist Elijah Witt, guitarist Wayne Barnett, bassist Ryan Henriquez, and drummer Devin Clark, the music group cut its tooth on the highway, sharing phases with contemporaries just like the Hollywood Undead, the Acacia Stress, blessthefall, as well as for the Fallen Dreams. They ultimately inked a cope with Rise Information and released an eponymous debut EP in 2015. The next yr the group released its 1st full-length outing, Smile, once again via Rise.
