Camera Shy can be an indie pop duo from Oakland, California featuring Alexandra Morte and Nick Bassett, both of whom had previously performed together in the shoegaze music group Whirr. After developing in 2014, they quickly authorized with Whirr’s label Work for Cover and released their debut EP, Jack-O-Lantern, in the summertime of that yr. Taking impact from bands just like the Softies, the Cardigans, as well as the Sundays, their mixture of seriously reverbed acoustic and guitar provides a mild backdrop for Morte’s dreamy vocals.
