Crafted by kid development professionals for kids between two and six, the Caillou books had been first released in 1987. Though launched to French-speaking kids like a storybook personality, it was shortly before Caillou (meaning “pebble” or “bald-headed” in French) produced his tv debut. Caillou could 1st be observed on Canada’s Teletoon route from 1997, open to stateside audiences on PBS 2 yrs later. A variety of brief episodes, tunes, and live-action puppet sections, the show very easily held the interest of its child group of fans. Additionally, a big musical repertoire was generated quickly. When selections of Caillou’s tunes were finally on CD, these were immediately well-known. The 2003 launch of Caillou’s SONGS delighted countless English-speaking followers. As this program became well-known world-wide, demand grew for the recording to become released in additional dialects. Weihnachten mit Caillou and Todas las Canciones de Caillou had been both released in 2007 by Common to support the character’s substantial international following.
