Cadete e Baiano

Cadete e Baiano was the 1st vocal duo in the annals of Brazilian recording business. Famous performers independently at that time if they teamed up like a duo, Cadete and Baiano had been area of the 1st band of Brazilian professional documenting singers (as well as Eduardo das Neves, Nozinho, and Mário Pinheiro). Collectively, Cadete e Baiano in the beginning documented six phonograms in Casa Edison’s (the 1st documenting organization of Brazil) cylinders, announced in its 1st catalog of 1902: “Operating-system 2 Crioulos,” “Laura,” “Desafio Português,” “Serenata No Cemitério,” the satire “Chegadinho,” and “O Genro e a Sogra.” In Feb 1913, the Casa Edison released another batch of albums from your duo: “Cabala Eleitoral,” “Santa Catarina e Paraná,” and “Portugal Monarquista.”
