Cachorro Grande

Marcelo Gross (acoustic guitar), Jerônimo Bocudo (bass), Gabriel Azambuja (drums), and Beto Bruno (vocal) met one another within the underground music picture of Porto Alegre, Brazil. Although they began like a cover music group to play a common rock & move — the Who, Beatles, Moving Stones, and Little Encounters — they later on became probably one of the most well known original bands within the Brazilian 3rd party picture. In 2001, Cachorro Grande released their self-titled debut. Documented on an extremely little label, the recording only received local advertising, but with strikes like “Sexperienced,” “Debaixo perform Chapéu,” and “Lunático,” the recording quickly discovered radio achievement. The popularity of the strikes, the rawness of the rock & move, and their enthusiastic live shows drew interest from other brands and invitations to try out in the main 3rd party celebrations around Brazil. 2 yrs later along with yet another member, Pedro Pelotas (key pad), Cachorro Grande had been being courted by way of a larger label, but after hearing their second recording, As Próximas Horas Serão Muito Boas, the label refused, taking into consideration the recording too noisy rather than commercially viable. Nevertheless, Lobão, a popular Brazilian musician, liked their recording and released it in his journal task, Outra Coisa, in 2004. This offered the music group well and Cachorro Grande received a whole lot of exposure through the entire country; shortly after, music like “Agoniada” and “Que Loucura!” became nationwide radio hits. Tv appearances and huge concerts began to be regular within the bandmembers’ lives. Following the achievement of As Próximas Horas Serão Muito Boas, the music group returned towards the studio room in 2005 and documented their third record, Pista Livre, on a fresh label, Deckdisc. When Jerônimo Bocudo still left the music group, Rodolfo Krieger had taken over on bass. Nearly concurrently, MTV Brasil made a decision to make an unplugged record with southern Brazilian rings. Along with Betê ou Balde, Wander Wildner, and Ultramen, Cachorro Grande performed four music (including one monitor featuring special visitor Paulo Miklos from Titãs). The causing record, Acústico MTV: Bandas Gauchas, was the definitive stage toward the nationwide achievement of the music group. Todos operating-system Tempos, the 4th Cachorro Grande studio room record, premiered in 2007, solidifying their place among the most important rock and roll & roll rings within the Brazilian music picture today.
