Also called El Club de los Poetas Violentos, this seminal Spanish rap crew was formed in Madrid about 1993 simply by MCs El Meswy, Mr. Rango, Paco Ruler, Supernafamacho, and Frank-T, aswell as DJ Jota Mightúscula. After some demos, C.P.V. released their debut LP, Madrid, Zona Bruta, in 1994, frequently regarded the first accurate hip-hop album with a Spanish action. Immediately after, Frank-T still left to pursue a single career. Over the next couple of years, C.P.V. held polishing their tough edges using the discharge of many maxis and two LPs, Grandes Planes (1997) and La Saga Continúa 24/7 (1998). As the collective under no circumstances officially announced their disbandment, C.P.V. had been inactive for approximately ten years. During this time period, their status as pioneers of Spanish rap held growing, partially fueled from the launch of compilations and reissues. In ’09 2009, C.P.V. reunited for a few live shows, and revealed a fresh album is at the credit cards. Siempre eventually made an appearance in 2012.
