Inspired from the sound from the British Invasion, BZN created within the Dutch city of Volendam in 1966; the original lineup comprised Jan Veerman, Cees Tol, Jan Tujip, and brothers Evert and Gerrit Woestenburg. On the band’s 30-plus-year background, BZN provides released over 60 albums (26 which possess eliminated platinum in holland), but its American success continues to be quite limited. A agreement with Mercury/Polydor in the first ’80s led to the discharge of two 1980 albums: Green Valleys (among the group’s platinum produces) and, afterwards that year, Initially 1967-1970. Many greatest-hits compilations may also be available.
