b. 17 July 1969, London, Britain. Elevated amidst a musical family members, as a little child Wallen analyzed traditional piano. He also performed euphonium but turned to trumpet, learning with Peter Ruderforth in London along with Jimmy Owens, Donald Byrd and Jon Faddis in NY in the middle- to past due 80s.
