Buzzy Buchanan

Buzzy Buchanan was created and elevated in LA, CA, through the early ’50s and was a reasonably occupied L.A. studio room drummer and percussionist between 1971 and 1982. He made an appearance on albums by Johnny Lee, Michael Martin Murphey, Juice Newton, Jackie DeShannon, and many others. He’d go on the street every once in awhile in between recording tasks touring with Juice Newton or the Jerry Garcia Music group until he thought we would hang up the phone his drums and only a more standard career path.
