Butterfingers

Australian rap-rock quartet Butterfingers shaped in 2002. Vocalist/guitarist “Bad Eddie” Jacobson decided to a single gig on the Brisbane nightclub the Zoo and hastily set up a support band offering DJ/percussionist Olly Thomas, bassist Dave Crane, and drummer Damien Green. The gig demonstrated successful, and after implementing the name Butterfingers, the group released their debut solitary, “Everytime,” in 2003, rating popular with Australian substitute radio wall plug Triple J. The follow-up, “I REALLY LIKE Function,” also fared well at radio, and arranged the stage for the 2004 launch of their debut LP, Breakfast time at Fatboys. Butterfingers’ sophomore work, The Deeper You Drill down, damaged the Australian Best 20 upon its middle-2006 launch, also generating the very best 40 solitary “GET RIGHT UP Outta the Dirt.”
