Burnside Exploration

Burnside Exploration may be the duo of singer/guitarist Garry Burnside, the youngest boy of R.L. Burnside, and his nephew, vocalist/drummer Cedric Burnside, R.L. Burnside’s grandson, who’s only 2 yrs younger. They started playing music jointly as kids, and were showing up in the juke joint circuit on weekends with Junior Kimbrough on the age range of 13 and 11, respectively. As Burnside Exploration, they possess made an appearance at blues celebrations so that as the starting work for such rings as Widespread Anxiety as well as the North Mississippi Allstars. (Garry Burnside was also an associate from the North Mississippi Allstars for a while.) Their debut record, The Record, premiered in Feb 2006 on Lucky 13 Information.
