Burke

Burke is in fact the shortened name of Burke Hilburn, an obnoxious punk-like vocalist from SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA who made a direct effect on his community scene along with his angry country-rock. Employing a band of like-minded music artists as his back-up, the group crafts high stories about their concealed family members lineage and promote an inbred picture that isn’t too much from the Pogues, but with a more fleshed-out gimmick. Their debut recording, THE ENTIRE YEAR of You, premiered in the springtime of 2002.
