Bunnygrunt

The world’s cutest band, St. Louis-based cuddlecore trio Bunnygrunt originally comprised guitarist Matt Harnish, drummer Karen Ried, and bassist Renee Dullum, all three of whom swapped vocal responsibilities. Created in early 1993, the group debuted later on that year using the Silly Moo label solitary “Criminal Young man”; some other 7″s adopted, included in this the EPs Standing up Hampton as well as the Bunnygrunt Family members Notebook. Signing towards the No Existence label, Bunnygrunt documented their debut LP, 1995’s Actions Pants! Relating to rumor, when Dullum stop the band before the album’s conclusion, she abruptly required most of her tunes with her, accounting for the disc’s short running period and scant quantity of songs. With fresh bassist Jen Wolfe, Bunnygrunt came back in 1998 using the excellent Jen-Fi; the trio disbanded immediately after, with Harnish and Ried carrying on on as the See-Thrus.
