The first edition of Bundock was formed in 1979 by Guy Pelletier and Pierre Bundock in Quebec. After shifting to Montreal in 1983 and choosing to write music in English 2 yrs afterwards, the band’s lineup coalesced around Bundock (vocals, saxophone), guitarist Dominique Lanois, bassist Marc Gendron, drummer Alain Roussel and key pad participant Martin Plante. Agreed upon to Alert Information, the music group released the Mauve EP in 1987, including “American Vocalist,” their tribute to Jim Morrison. Bundock’s debut record, S.A. (Societe Anonyme), made an appearance in 1988.
