Home / Biography / Bulletproof

For almost all their ballsiness and fireplace, the Ann Arbor-based indie rock and roll group Bulletproof began quietly more than enough. Lead vocalist Cammila Albertson, bassist Ryan Hyde, and guitarist David Widmayer primarily began working jointly like a moody, melodic music group called From the Drinking water. The group documented one EP, 2003’s Fist for any Shell, before disbanding in 2004 when Hyde relocated to Minneapolis for the entire year. Albertson and Widmayer continuing to write fresh songs during the period of the following 12 months, so when Hyde came back to Ann Arbor the three made a decision to come up with another music group. They drew drummer Rob Logan in to the collapse and, eschewing their previous low-key sound for any mixture of angular indie rock and roll that nodded to performers like Surprise & the Balls as well as the Seems, the group christened itself Bulletproof. They documented and self-released their 1st EP, Running Weapons, in 2007.
