Buffalo Daughter

Japanese sonic collagists Buffalo Daughter shaped in 1993, comprising vocalists/multi-instrumentalists SuGar Yoshinaga and Yumiko Ohno alongside turntablist Moog Yamamoto. Cutting-and-pasting noises which range from funk to lounge-pop to avant-noise, the trio debuted the next year using the LP Shaggy Headdressers, implemented in 1995 by Amoeba Soundsystem; using the 1996 seven-inch Tale from the Yellow Buffalo, they produced their American debut, putting your signature on to Grand Royal. The full-length Captain Vapour Sportsmen implemented afterwards that same season, and in 1997 Grand Royal released Socks, Medications & Rock and roll ‘N’ Move, a assortment of materials remixed by famous brands Alec Empire, Cash Tag and U.N.K.L.E. Buffalo Girl came back in 1998 with New Rock and roll, and another remix collection, WXBD, made an appearance a year afterwards.
