Buck Trent

Buck “Mr. Banjo” Trent isn’t only among the finest players in nation music, he’s also the inventor from the electrical banjo. Given birth to Charles Wilburn Trent in Spartanburg, SC, he started playing steel electric guitar at age group seven, and debuted skillfully with an Ashville, NEW YORK television place at age group 17. He became a member of the Costs Carlisle Show close to the end from the 1950s and shortly afterward produced his initial appearance in the Grand Ole Opry. In 1962, he became a member of Porter Wagoner’s Wagon Experts and designed the electrical banjo, a musical instrument shaped something similar to a steel electric guitar which highlighted a cellular bridge used to improve the pitch. Trent continued to be with Wagoner through 1973 and spent another seven years because the starting action for Roy Clark; he also made an appearance regularly being a highlighted musician in the long-running Television show Hee Haw. He started documenting in 1962, originally beneath the name Charles Trent; through the ’70s, he documented many albums, including Bionic Banjo (1976). He started recording by himself Buck Trent label within the 1980s and 2 yrs later documented an eponymous record on MCA/Dot. Through the 1990s, he was a normal performer in Branson, Missouri.
