Bubacar Jamaneh

Jamaneh was raised in a normal Muslim family members and pursued music after finishing college in 1963, very much to his father’s dismay. He performed in Atmosphere Jazz of Bakau before signing up for the Gambian Law enforcement Music group in 1965. He spent quite a few years being a sailor and gemstone miner before shifting to Spain and lastly settling in Berlin in 1975, where he used music again, developing several rings and playing electrical and acoustic guitars.
