Maybe a mismatched pair, specifically to look at — a heavy-set, bully-looking guy along with a scrawny, nerdy type with thicker glasses — rapper Jimmy “Jael” Jamz (aka Major Jamz) and DJ/maker Bobby Evans (aka Destroy You Me You) comprise the hip-hop group Sibling Reade. Within their 1st musical outing, Jael (given birth to Wayne Joliff) and Evans (given birth to Erin Garcia) required part in a higher school punk music group within their hometown, Winston-Salem, NC. Evans relocated out to LA for college, later on encouraging Jael to check out. Located in L.A., they called the group after Jael’s autistic sibling and soon started to record collectively. Usually multi-layered and initial, Evans’ Organization Flow-esque productions sometimes have an easy fluidity with dark overtones, but additional occasions are off-the-wall, seen as a oblique rhythms. Jael generally retains up, but will remain steadfast along with his b-boy, and occasionally heavy-handed, circulation. Amid their many low-key, unofficial produces, Brother Reade released The Illustrated Guideline to: 9 to 5 EP for the Warner Bros.-associated Record Collection in 2005. Regional press and arts publications began to label them as encouraging up-and-comers. URB publication even presented them within their Next 1000 series.
