Broken Bones

This British hardcore band was formed in Stoke-on-Trent, England, during 1983 by ex-Discharge guitarist Tony ‘Bones’ Roberts. Recruiting sibling Terry on bass, vocalist Nobby and drummer Cliff, they carefully followed the metallic/punk crossover strategy of Bone fragments’ previous group. With questionable lyrics along with a rigidly formularized approach, they will have progressed small since their inception. Over time of inactivity, they came back in 1989 with Quiv and D.L. Harris mainly because new encounters on business lead vocals and bass, respectively. Dropping Control appeared soon later on, a vitriolic stream of angst-ridden hardcore, but once again, little not the same as previous offerings.
