Brian Welch

Brian “Head” Welch was created June 19, 1970, and was raised in Bakersfield, CA. He started playing electric guitar at age 11. He was a founding person in the alternative steel music group Korn, with which he produced the albums Korn (1994), Lifestyle Can be Peachy (1996), Follow the first choice (1998), Problems (1999), Untouchables (2002), and Take a peek in the Reflection (2003). All had been platinum or multi-platinum retailers. Furthermore to playing electric guitar and performing, he wrote tracks for Korn and Problems. In Feb 2005, he resigned through the band after learning to be a Christian. Conquering substance abuse complications, he committed himself to charity also to increasing his girl as an individual dad. His autobiography, Conserve Me from Myself, was released by HarperCollins in July 2007 and became a best-seller. Another book, Cleaned by Bloodstream (in fact an edited edition of Save Me from Myself targeted at a young audience) made an appearance on June 24, 2008. Welch’s debut single album, also known as Conserve Me from Myself, premiered on his Powered GROUP label on Sept 9, 2008.
