Influenced by an array of vocalists from Donny Hathaway to Fred Hammond to John Mayer, singer and songwriter Brian Courtney Wilson comes with an up-to-date 21st century method of modern gospel that could be termed “urban inspirational.” Wilson, a University or college of Illinois graduate, started singing officially in the university’s dark chorus, then continuing singing by himself time while training of music for quite some time. Through Rasmus he fulfilled label owner and music mogul Mathew Knowles, who authorized Wilson to his Soul Rising/Music Globe imprint. Documented in Jackson, Mississippi and made by Stan Jones, Wilson’s inspirationally themed debut recording, Just Love, made an appearance in ’09 2009. Second recording So Proud adopted in 2012, and strike the top from the gospel graphs. He also teamed with Fred Hammond, Dave Hollister, and Eric Roberson for United Tenors, released the next year. Putting your signature on to Motown Gospel, Wilson released his third recording Worth Fighting with each other For in early 2015. The recording did well within the graphs, then received Wilson a Dove Award later on that yr for Greatest Traditional Gospel Recording. Also, the name monitor was nominated for top level Gospel Music at the next year’s Billboard Music Honours.
