Brian Cadd

b. 29 November 1949, Perth, Australia. As an organist, Cadd found prominence in rings like the Groop (1966-69) and Axiom (1969-71), the second option becoming touted as Australia’s first supergroup. In 1972, after coming back from another unsuccessful attempt at the British marketplace, he became a single artist, carrying out a short spell like a duo with Don Mudie which led to the Australian strike single ‘Display Me The Method’. Cadd steadily developed his pursuing with many piano-based singles and solid albums. Ultimately he was safe enough to create his personal label, Bootleg, which he created and nurtured other functions. Cadd formed a residence music group, the Bootleg Music group, which he useful for documenting, carrying out and touring. In the mean time, Cadd’s single albums continuing to graph (his 1st two albums had been Australia’s biggest-selling information in 1973), but his power was his songwriting, which offered hits for numerous Australian functions. Within the 80s he relocated to LA where he was effective in securing high-profile performers like the Pointer Sisters and Gene Pitney to record his tunes. In 1990 Cadd toured with Maximum Merrit AS WELL AS THE Meteors and in 1991 he became a member of the line-up from the Soaring Burrito Brothers. He sang around the albums Vision FROM THE Hurricane (1993) and Sons Of The Golden Western (1999) and toured thoroughly using the group. In 1993 he documented an recording with aged Axiom bandmate Glenn Shorrock. Cadd, who shows and lectures in Australia, can be the co-owner from the Streetwise GROUP. In 2005, he released his 1st studio recording in over twenty years.
