Los Angeles-based Brenna Whitaker is a robust, highly resonant vocalist having a bent toward active jazz and R&B-influenced pop. Elevated in Kansas Town, Missouri, Whitaker was raised listening to traditional performers like Ruth Dark brown, Peggy Lee, Etta Adam, among others. She started her professional movie theater career at age group 11, and by enough time she is at her teenagers she acquired relocated to NEW YORK to help expand her vocal research. After a limited period in her early twenties fronting her very own jazz group around Kansas Town, Whitaker transferred to LA, where she fulfilled manufacturer David Foster. Under Foster’s assistance, Whitaker started developing her very own distinctive crossover audio. In 2015, she released her self-titled debut record on Verve.
