Brenda Wootton

b. 10 Feb 1928, London, Britain, d. 11 March 1994. A vocalist fiercely pleased with her Cornish history, Wootton was frequently said to possess regretted her delivery in the administrative centre, which was unintentional. She was raised in the angling town of Newlyn, where she quickly became a familiar tone of voice in the chapel and various other venues.
