Brenda Russell

Given birth to Brenda Gordon, Russell is really a spirit singer, composer, and keyboardist. Her family members relocated to Toronto when she was 12. Ultimately, she and her spouse, Brian Russell, hosted the Canadian Television series Music Machine. They relocated to LA in 1973 where they both worked well as session music artists. They documented together beneath the name Brian & Brenda in 1978, but their music had not been received well. Following the couple’s divorce, Brenda embarked on a single career. She authorized with A&M and released two albums, Brenda Russell (1979) and Like Life (1981). After that she turned to Warner Bros. and released Two Eye in 1983.
