In 1980, a fresh rock-band formed in Toronto, Canada, calling itself Mating Ground. The initial lineup contains lead vocalist John Shirreff, guitarists Chris Wardman and Hugh Gladish, bassist Jonathan Strayer, and drummer Ken Jones. Strayer and Jones had been later changed by bassist Gary Quinn and drummer Kevin Hunter. After a year or two of playing gigs at night clubs, the group arrived a cope with the Mannequin Information label and released a self-titled EP. More than the next couple of years the music group recorded several singles, another EP, several music movies, and a good full-length record.
