Breeding Ground

In 1980, a fresh rock-band formed in Toronto, Canada, calling itself Mating Ground. The initial lineup contains lead vocalist John Shirreff, guitarists Chris Wardman and Hugh Gladish, bassist Jonathan Strayer, and drummer Ken Jones. Strayer and Jones had been later changed by bassist Gary Quinn and drummer Kevin Hunter. After a year or two of playing gigs at night clubs, the group arrived a cope with the Mannequin Information label and released a self-titled EP. More than the next couple of years the music group recorded several singles, another EP, several music movies, and a good full-length record. By enough time the ’80s acquired resided out its last hooray, therefore acquired Breeding Surface. After launching that debut EP in 1982, Mating Ground went unbiased the next calendar year, and many singles implemented, like “Slaughter,” “Reunion,” “Happy Today I UNDERSTAND,” and “Wedding ceremony of Like.” Abundant airplay on university campuses gained the group great person to person reviews and a lot of exposure to adults. Mating Floor quickly released a sophomore EP, Stories of Adventure, and lastly in 1989 finished an album entitled Obscurity and Flair, both released beneath the Fringe Item label. When issues fell apart once again, there is no resurgence.
