A shape-shifting indie rock and roll unite from your Catskills, New Platz, New York-based Breakfast time in Hair, named after a 1936 sculpture by Swiss surrealist and professional photographer Méret Oppenheim, crafts experimental, psych-tinged confections that flirt with IDM, post-rock, folk, and ambient pop. Created in 2007 round the skills of Dan Wolfe, Kaitlin Vehicle Pelt, Mike Hollis, Chris Walker, and Pete Newman, the music group, which was initially simply Wolfe and Vehicle Pelt, issued an unbiased, mainly bedroom folk-driven eponymous EP in 2011 before inking a cope with Pub/None Information. The band’s debut long-player, the greater psych-rock focused Flyaway Garden, premiered in Feb 2015.
