Beginning Brazos like a bedroom documenting task, singer/songwriter Martin Crane released the EPs Nourishing Frenzy and A City Just like Tall before recruiting a three-piece music group to try out live around Austin. With guitarist Nathan Stein, bassist Paul Cost, and drummer Andy Beaudoin, Brazos received a warm response because of their crunchy rock undertake folk, and continued to play some local displays in 2008. The band’s trajectory found steam using the self-released 2009 full-length Phosphorescent Blues, that the music group gigged regularly, starting for Grizzly Keep, Vampire Weekend, the Country wide, and Iron & Wines.
