When they’re not really skanking towards the ska-punk audio in Five Iron Frenzy, Reese Roper (electric guitar/vocals), Dennis Culp (electric guitar), and Keith Hoerig (bass) compose a swirly, spacedelic design in Brave Saint Saturn. They prefer to state they’re forerunners of “astro-rock,” therefore Daring Saint Saturn’s eclectic, loud mixture of turntables, strings, keyboards, and accordions applies to the space-pop matter. Sarabellum released the trio’s debut, UP TO NOW from your home, in early 2000. 2 yrs later, Daring Saint Saturn agreed upon with Seattle’s Teeth & Toe nail and released The Light of Stuff Hoped For almost a year after inking the offer.
