Brand X

Brand X were a Uk jazz-rock fusion clothing shaped by Genesis drummer Phil Collins and Atomic Rooster guitarist John Goodsall like a part project using their regular organizations. Their preliminary lineup also included keyboardist Robin Lumley and bassist Percy Jones (the Liverpool Picture, the Scaffold). Brand X’s debut recording, Unorthodox Behaviour, premiered in 1976; a live recording, Livestock, as well as the studio room effort Moroccan Move adopted in 1977. Collins remaining the group to focus on Genesis, as well as for 1978’s Masques, he was changed by Al Di Meola drummer Chuck Burgi, in addition to extra keyboardist Peter Robinson, who experienced used Stanley Clarke. Three further albums — 1979’s Item, 1980’s Perform They Harm?, and 1982’s WILL THERE BE Anything On the subject of? — followed prior to the group disbanded. Within the middle-’90s, Lumley, Goodsall, and Jones reunited, issuing many live collections within the years to check out.
