The crushing, out-of-control sound of death metal’s Mind Drill was created when guitarist Dylan Ruskin remaining his post in the music group Burn in the Stake through the summer of 2005. He quickly installed with among the fastest drummers he previously ever noticed, Marco Pitruzzella, who experienced spent amount of time in Vile, Essential Remains, and several other bands around the intense edge of metallic. Vocalist Steve Rathjen became a member of the band for a few demo documenting before former Deceased Syndicate vocalist Andre Cornejo changed him. Previous Vile member Jef Hughell, who takes on a seven-string bass, arrived on board following, then Cornejo remaining, only to become replaced from the coming back Rathjen. In 2007 Cannibal Corpse member Alex Webster suggested the up-and-coming music group within an interview as well as the Metallic Knife label was hearing. The label authorized Brain Drill past due that 12 months and released their debut recording, Apocalyptic Feasting, in early 2008. Quantum Catastrophe adopted this year 2010.
