Brad Delson

Biography

Born in LA on Dec 1, 1977, guitarist Brad Delson originally played the trumpet before inevitably getting lured to your guitar in middle college, where he became close friends with fellow aspiring musician and musician Mike Shinoda. Both soon began setting up original tracks jointly in Shinoda’s makeshift bedroom studio room, and their camaraderie and musical cooperation continued into senior high school (where they went to the same college within the Agoura Hillsides suburb as associates of Hoobastank). After Delson’s early music group Relative Degree dropped apart, he began in the group Xero with Shinoda and previous Relative Level bandmate Rob Bourdon. Xero continuing even following the men graduated and continued to university. Delson enrolled at UCLA and became roommates with bassist Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, whom he ultimately convinced to become listed on Xero. Because the men worked the neighborhood picture, Delson graduated using a bachelor’s level in marketing communications and made a decision to put off programs of attending laws college another semester to focus on the music group, which was picking right up momentum. Xero ultimately changed names, found some members on the way, and became referred to as the rap-metal sextet Linkin Recreation area. They authorized with Warner Bros. in past due 1999 and released their multi-platinum-selling debut, Crossbreed Theory, the next yr. Linkin Park’s third recording, Mins to Midnight, premiered in early summer season 2007. Delson is well known for wearing huge headphones while carrying out live for mainly unspecified reasons.
