Bracken

Though Bracken started for Hood’s Chris Adams to help expand explore the experimental grime he previously first handled upon in 1997 beneath the moniker Downpour, as he began employed in his basement studio room in Leeds, he shortly realized that different things — slower, and even more contemplative — was developing instead, and went with it. Component experimental, component indie electronica, Bracken easily fit into well with all of those other Anticon roster he was agreed upon to, a label he previously been in connection with since 2001, when Unusual Nosdam, Doseone, and just why? added to Hood’s record Cold Home. Anticon released Bracken’s one Heathen in nov 2006, and the next January the full-length WE REALIZE About the necessity came out.
