Brace/Choir

Shoegaze experimentalists Brace/Choir formed in Berlin in 2006. The music group, made up of Christoph Adrian, Alex Samuels, Potential Gassmann, and Dave Youssef, discovered the four vocalist/multi-instrumentalists switching musical instruments and taking transforms performing with each different tune. Their slow-burning result channeled Krautrock legends like Faust, shoegaze staples from the ’80s and ’90s, as well as the lingering space rock and roll of the first Kranky Information roster. A self-titled, self-released EP surfaced this year 2010, accompanied by the greater fully realized recording Turning on your own Two times in 2014.
