Biography
Spearheaded by Houston vocalist/guitarist/programmer Ken Gerhard (also of Bamboo Crisis and Blossoms & Models), Bozo Porno Circus combined industrial dance music with (as you might expect through the group’s name) outlandish theatricality and fetishistic sexuality. The group originally shaped in 1991, issuing an area album that obtained them a pursuing around Tx and Louisiana. 1994’s Restrained Retrained netted some nationwide distribution, however the follow-up was four years in arriving. When Cybersmut found its way to 1998, the Bozo Porno Circus lineup presented Gerhard, drummer/percussionist Ador Charming, bassist Raul Bertot, vocalist/guitarist/programmer Chris O, sampler/programmer Kirk Graham, sampler NEUWAYV, along with a quartet of woman dancers dubbed the Porn Starz.
