Boy Friend

Austin, Tx’ Christa Palazzolo and Sarah Dark brown formed Son Friend in past due 2010, when the set left Rest∞More than to focus on their own make of lovelorn fantasy pop. Close friends since their early teenagers, Brown (vocals/acoustic guitar) and Palazzolo (vocals/keyboards) bonded over their fondness for Mariah Carey and Ray Lynch soundtracks and continued to make a sound similar to the Cocteau Twins, Atmosphere, Beach Home, and Strawberry Switchblade. The set shifted quickly after departing Sleep∞Over, liberating the Boy Friend EP in January 2011 as well as the Lovedropper 7″ that May. Throughout a tour using the like-minded Speculator in Oct, Son Friend released a tour-only tape as well as the Crystal EP, which presented tracks by both rings. After putting your signature on to Hell Yes!, the music group released their debut recording Egyptian Wrinkle in Feb 2012.
